KOCHI: The department of Youth Welfare of Cusat has started providing intensive psychological counseling to students, parents and staff in the wake of the stampede at the campus that claimed four lives on Saturday night.
The counseling facility has been arranged in collaboration with Jeevani Center for Student Wellbeing Programme and district mental health programme.
Services of six counselors are available at the student amenity centre of the university from Monday. The service will be extended to various departments when the classes commence.
